Message	you want is clean running Z. If your goal is to build a track monster then any mod not aiding that goal is considered unnecessary. On the other side if you want to win best of show at say HIN then a flat screen lcd display in your fuel door cover maybe considered necessary... The most unnecessary mod on my car right now is probably the turbo timer.
